Getting Started
Where to Start
Joining doesn't require any prior reading or preparation. It requires a working internet connection, roughly ninety uninterrupted minutes, and a willingness to look at a few ordinary decisions a little more closely than usual.
Four Steps to the First Session
Register Interest
Send a short message through the contact page or by email, mentioning which module sounds most relevant to you right now.
Receive Session Details
A reply follows with the date, the video link, and the short case study to read beforehand, usually within a few working days.
Attend the Session
Join the live discussion at the scheduled time. No camera requirement, though most participants find the conversation easier with one on.
Continue at Your Pace
Attend further modules whenever they fit, in any order, or take time between sessions to sit with the reflection sheet on your own.
Almost Nothing, on Purpose
There's no reading list, no worksheet to complete in advance, no self-assessment to fill out beforehand. The case study document takes about five minutes to read. Beyond that, the only preparation that matters is showing up willing to talk about something ordinary.
Room to Sit With It
Some participants attend all five modules within a few weeks. Others spread them out over months, returning when a new decision brings the earlier discussion back to mind. Both approaches work equally well, since none of the modules depend on the others to make sense.
Common Questions
Who is this series for?
Anyone curious about their own everyday decisions. No financial background or prior familiarity with budgeting concepts is assumed or required.
Is this financial advice?
No. The sessions are educational discussions built around observation and reflection. They don't provide financial, legal, or therapeutic advice of any kind.
Do I need to speak during the session?
Participation is welcomed but never required. Some people prefer to listen for their first module before joining a breakout conversation later on.
Can I attend just one module?
Yes. Each module stands on its own, so attending a single session that matches a current situation is entirely reasonable.
